UPSC Civil Service Exam 2014 Notification Available www.upsc.gov.in: UPSC (The Union Public Service Commission) civil service exams 2014 calendar has declared. The Union Public Service Commission is a central authorized agency to conduct the Civil Services Examination in India. The prestigious and prominent Civil Services Examination is conducted yearly to select officer’s cadre post for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).The Civil Services Examination will be conducted in three stages i.e. preliminary exam, mains and personal interview.The preliminary exam has scheduled on 24th August 2014 and the results are going to be declared in the month of October.
Civil service exam 2014 Notification Updates
The official notification for Civil Services Preliminary Exam-2014 has released on 17th May 2014.According to the UPSC examination calendar-2014 UPSC will conductcivil service exams in two-steps. The interested candidate needs to appear for the civil services preliminary exam which is followed by the civil services mains exam. According to a tentative time tablepreliminary exam is scheduled on 24th August 2014 and the results are going to be declared in the month of October and Civil Services (Mains) Examination-2014 is scheduled on 14thDecember 2014. The preliminary examination paper is an objective type exam which is conducted as a screening test for the mains exam. Preliminary exam consists of two papers i.e. civil service aptitude test (CSAT) and general study paper. If the candidatesuccessfully clears the preliminary exam only those candidates are eligible to appear for the main exam paper. This exam measures the overall intellectual traits of the candidates and depth of understanding of a candidate.

UPSC Civil Service Exam 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be a graduation degree holder or equivalent from a recognized university to succeed for the application process. The age limit for the applicants is 21-30 years and reservation is applicable for the candidates according to the rules and regulation of the UPSC notification.
