WBJEE 2014 Results 2014 West Bengal joint entrance results at wbjeeb.in: West Bengal joint entrance examination (WBJEE)-2014 results is going to be announced in the month of June 2014.West Bengal joint entrance examination (WBJEE) is a state government centralized test which is conducted particularly by various governmental & private medical and engineering organizations in the state of West Bengal. The test is conducted to offer the admission in various under graduation professional courses. The test is essentially taken after the 12th grade exams to make admission into several courses at graduate level and students who have chosen science stream in plus two levels they can only sit for these examinations.

There are some subjects that are compulsory for the students to choose as a main subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and biology. Two separate tests will be conducted for both Medical and engineering streams. As West Bengal joint entrance examination is a state wide entrance testevery year nearly 3 to 4 lakh studentswould appear for this examination and year by year the number has significantly increased. From the academic year 2012 the board has adopted new system i.e. the old pattern of examinations the question paper comprised short type of questions, where the educational board approved new way of conducting entrance examinations i.e. the short type of questions were replaced by multiple choice type questions. The paper consists of 80 MCQ’s which are divided into two sections.
Section one consists of about 60 MCQs of 1 mark each and Section two consists of the remaining 20 MCQs of 2 marks each, in this entrance examination negative marking is applicable i.e. there is penalty for wrong answer. 30% of the total mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
