GATE 2015 Notification and Online Application Submission Updates

GATE 2015 Eligibility standard: 

Candidates who has passed B.tech through any stream such as electrical, computer science, mechanical, electrons, civil, information technology etc. and candidates who are studying finial year of B.Tech.

Application fee for GATE-2015: 

For General candidates/OBC Male candidates : Rs.1500/- 

For all Women Candidates : Rs.750 

For all reserved candidates i.e. SC/ST/PD candidates : Rs.750 

GATE 2015 Exam Important dates

· Gate-2015 Online Application processes starts from September 1, 2014 (Tuesday). 

Last date for Gate-2015 online application Submission: October 1, 2014 (Friday). 

Last Date for Change in the Choice of Examination center City via GOAPS log in: 21st November 2014 

Downloading of Admit Card starts from: 17th December 2014 

GATE-2015 Online Examination starts from 31st January 2015 and 1st February 2015&7th February 2015&8th February 2015 and 14th February 2015

Forenoon session time: morning 9.00 AM to 12.00 AM

Afternoon session time: afternoon 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM 

Gate 2015 Examination pattern:

· Gate exam will be conducted in offline and online mode.

· Gate exam paper contain of the 65 questions which includes 15 marks for aptitude and 85 marks for technical section as per individual’s stream.

· The time period of the gate-2015 exam will be 3 hours.

· GATE exam syllabus will be prescribed as per their branch. Candidates can view the syllabus from the official link of www.gate.iitb.ac.in
