Submission of SET-2014 on-line applications: 10th October 2014 to 31st October 2014

Last date with late fee of Rs. 100: 01st November 2014 to 08th November 2014

Last date with late fee of Rs. 200: 08th November 2014 to 15th November 2014.

Colleges in the state through this notification large number of aspirants are recruitment as assistant professors/lecturers in various Universities and degree colleges. In 2012, UGC, New Delhi recognized Osmania University as the state agency for Andhra Pradesh to conduct SET examination and later on they gave reaccreditation for another three consecutive years to Osmania University as a nodal agency to conduct APSET examination for 2013, 2014 and 2015 years. However, in the situation of state bifurcation, Osmania University required the clarification from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments with regard to the conduct of SET-2014 examination and both the state governments have given Osmania University their agreement and approval for the conduct of SET-2014 and 

University Grants Commission, New Delhi suggested that OU has to prepare combined for the candidates of both the states i.e. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Aspiring candidates can also appear for the SET-2014 in Telugu medium, after the examination cutoff marks and declaration of results should remain same as it was done in 2013.
