CBSE National Eligibility Test NET 2014 Notification at www.cbsenet.nic.in: Central Board Secondary education (CBSE) has issued the National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2014 notification on behalf of UGC. And CBSE is going to start accepting online application from 15th October 2014 to 15th November 2014. So all interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form from the official website of CBSE at www.cbsenet.nic.in but before submitting application candidates are advised to read the official notification as clearly as possible and as per the official information examination are going to be held nationwide on 28th December 2014. After the successful conduction of written exam results will be available within one month so aspirant those who are applying for NET must check the official website for regular updates.

How to apply: Eligible aspirants can visit the official website www.cbsenet.nic.in to apply online. CBSE will conduct the NET in 79 subjects at 87 selected NET Coordinating Institutions extend across the country. NET-2014 for the June session was held on Sunday i.e. 29th June 2014. Over 33,000 candidates have appeared for the examinations for June session, results are yet to be announced. Candidates those who qualify in this examination are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in any related subject and are also eligible to work as assistant professor. The universities, IITs, institutions and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in agreement with the procedure prescribed by them. But board mentioned that the award of JRF and eligibility for assistant professor or both will depend on the performance of the applicant in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates those who qualified exclusively for Assistant Professor will not be considered for award of JRF. The second session for this academic year is going to be held on 28th December 2014, UGC however will provide the necessary faculty to prepare the question papers to CBSE.
