CTET Exam in February 2015-Eligibility Criteria from www.ctet.nic.in: The CTET-Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education .The date of exam will be on 22nd February2015. The CTET exam is conducted for determining a candidate's eligibility for the appointment of teacher for the classes I to VIII. This exam is conducted once per year. The candidates interested to work as teacher in central schools need to qualify in this test. There are number of applications received for this test. Out of these candidates only shortlisted candidates will be placed based on their performance in the test. The schools of NCT Delhi and Central schools are participating in this drive. CTET may also apply to other institutions like unaided private schools and other state government schools as per the norms. Position: Teachers for Class I to VIII

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualifications for Teacher post for Classes I-V:

Primary Stage

The candidates should possess Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks in academics and passed or appearing in final year of Two year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible to take the test.

or

Candidates with Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks in academics and have passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma course in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure)

Or

Candidates with Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks in academics and have passed or appearing in final year of Four year Bachelor of Elementary Education.

Or

Candidate must have Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks in academics and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education.

Or

Any Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education 

Qualifications for Teacher post for Classes VI-VIII:

Elementary Stage

Candidate must possess Graduation and has passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma course in Elementary Education

Or

The candidate must possess Graduation with at least 50% marks during academics and passed or appearing in one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Or

The candidate with Graduation secured 45% marks at least and passed or appearing in one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations

Or

Candidate must possess Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Four year Bachelor degree in Elementary Education.

Or

Candidate possessing Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks in academics and passed or appearing in final year of Four year .

Or

Any Graduate with at least 50% marks in academics and passed or appearing in one year B.Ed.
